Our habits define who we are and how much we love ourselves. To maintain balance and harmony of mental peace along with body health, we need to throw away toxic habits and shake hands with better alternatives.
I have laid down 10 daily habits that can change your life forever. It is not important that you follow exactly what is laid down here. These are the basic principles, you can add necessary changes and tweaks to adjust to these wonderful set of daily habits.
Planning your Day –
I know most of you have not look into this before. But believe me, this will help you a lot in achieving your goal. Planning your day is the first and most important daily habit that you should include in your day. If you don’t plan for your goal you will not be going to achieve it quickly or in a span of time that you decided to get it.
Planning your day the night before making it better and even increase your productivity. You will be surprised to see the results. You will be able to work more efficiently and on the time as you are not going to save your time for deciding what to do or not on the next day.
I have seen many people of having a target of completing anything on a daily basis. It makes a lot of difference. So spiders start planning your target on a daily basis instead of for a span of time. Divide your work into small milestones and try to complete it in the decided time.
Set your Priorities –
Always have space for the important stuff first in your daily life. Clean out the clutter from your mind. Firstly decide what is important to you and what will help you to reach your goals better.
Sometimes this will lead to a situation when you have to say no to so many things but in order to give importance to your priorities, you have to do it. You will realize the importance of it later on when you will start experiencing better results out of it.
Go Minimalist –
By becoming minimalist I want you to have more space, fewer stuffs and free available time for you. It is a lifestyle in which we give more importance to only essential things by cutting unnecessary kinds of stuff.
By removing unnecessary pieces of stuff you will have more time and space for the things that you love and value.
So have a clutter free mind and this will seriously help you to pay more attention to your work. You will feel happier than before and a happy mind always produces better and productive results.
Keep yourself surrounded by positive peoples-
Our surrounding plays an important role in keeping a good state of mind as well as achieving our goals. Keep yourself surrounded by positive souls.
Think about the peoples you spend time with. Do you think they are positive? If No, then it’s time to change.

If you want to be happy you have to keep yourself surrounded by positive peoples. Positive people always talk positively as when you replace your negative thoughts with your positive thoughts you will start getting positive results. You will be less stressed and feel happy to do your daily stuff.

Don’t over think –
Yes everyone does this. We make any situation worse by over thinking it. Overthinking don’t always produce productive results. We are a result of what we think about us. For most of us, our thoughts are basically not ours. They are controlled by our surroundings, people we hang out with, insecurities, past incidents etc.
Thinking is good but overthinking is not. Don’t confuse reality with imagination. Don’t trap yourself with this. Instead of assuming situations all by yourself, train your brain to think logically to have a better view of what’s actually going on.
I am sharing you a tip to stop when you start over thinking. Wear a rubber band on your wrist and whenever you realize that you are over thinking, just snap it gently. This will be a physical reminder that will temporarily activate your another part of the brain by breaking the thought pattern and bring your thoughts back to reality.
Believe in yourself-
Believe in yourself when even nobody does it because when you only don’t believe in yourself then who else will do it. Have faith in yourself and you will build self-confidence.

The feeling of getting closer to your target will increase your chance of getting success.
It’s a lack of faith in you that always stops you from taking challenges.
Whenever I read about any successful people, the first thing that they recommend is to read daily. It is a key to learning. It develops your mind and open doors for new experiences and ideas.

So no matters how busy you always make time for reading. Include it in your daily habit. You can have a target of the reading number of pages equal to today’s date. In this way, you can read nearly 465 pages in a month and 5580 pages a year.

Eat healthy and Exercise–
You should always keep yourself at the top of your priority list. Follow a healthy diet and include exercise in your daily habit. Drink more water to keep your body hydrated and get rid of toxins. Exercise 3 days minimum in a week for at least one hour. Eating habits contribute 70% to keeping your body healthy and fit and exercise 30%. Don’t compromise with any one of them. If you will stay healthy you will automatically stay happy and as a result, it will increase your productivity.
Always remember what you are giving to your body, it will return you the same result today or tomorrow.
It is also a common saying that
A sound mind lives in a healthy body.
Get good sleep –
Your mind is like a machine working the whole day. To keep it well functional and healthy it needs rest. A good sleep is very necessary for you. It is as important as eating healthy and doing exercise. It will help your brain to function well and hence increase your productivity.
Poor sleeping habits can also lead to many severe health problems. So take a good 6-7 hrs sleep daily.
Today almost everything distracts us. We don’t have even time to sit alone and think about us. Do you remember last time when you just sit alone in a peaceful atmosphere without the influence of your mobile phones, laptop etc and think about yourself? Many of you have not even done it.
Take out some time from your daily schedule and meditate. Keep your mind calm and think about yourself for some few minutes.
Meditation reconnects you with your inner self and helps you to refocus on the things that you really wanted to do. Give yourself some time.
So these were the 10 daily habits that can change your life. Follow these and you will see positive changes in your mental and physical health. Make positivity and development an addiction. Believe me getting addicted to this will immensely help you to reach your goals.
